About myself
This business was conceived some years ago out
of the desire to make life a lot easier for others who like
myself and a large majority of the people I know were too
busy in their lives for one reason or the other to have any
spare time to themselves, their domestic duties and obligations:
or, those who just cannot cope on their own.
I knew what it felt like in my former role having to juggle with a high-powered job and at the same time to be a parent and a home-keeper. I also knew how tough the going got on arriving home from a day's work when I literally had to go straight into the kitchen to set the meals before I could then rush upstairs to have a shower. My day was just beginning.
Thank goodness for dishwashers and all other forms of washing machines but one still has to load and unload them. How about ironing and the children? Their homework needed my input. The house needed tidying up thoroughly and only after all had been seen to would I have time for myself. It was already 1 a.m. and I had to be up, fresh and alert at 6 a.m. to prepare breakfast, get everybody ready for dispatch to wherever and be at my desk to work at 10 a.m.
Aghhhh! I'd just remembered that Mum had a dental appointment for 3:20 that afternoon. It meant that I had to collect the children from school, in short, I had to put in for half a day's holiday. Could you guess what was going through my mind at that point in time?
I needed a reliable, dependable, good cleaner who wouldn't cut corners, someone who was very thorough and honest in their work; a baby-sitter or mother's help who would also collect the children from school and help out with their homework or probably, a nanny to look after them when I was away on work-trips and some weekends; someone also to do the ironing plus the general maintenance of the outside area of the house. And how could I forget my parents' garden and those bay windows which require the urgent attention of experts, etc.
I thought: Why can't I set up my own business which will cater for the right staff for these services?
About the companySo in 1999 I founded the company, and we have grown to have dozens of staff, all trained by the company, working in West, North West, North, South West and East London, the West End, the City, Docklands, - in fact all parts of greater London. We are covered by liability insurance, and all our staff are screened for legality of employment.
We have attracted some notable customers including the Financial Times, who had a very successful children's party arranged by us, and Sky One, who have used our cleaning services.
